Vivo X200 Ultra to get 200MP periscope camera Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Vivo is going to launch the Vivo X200 series smartphone in the market on October 14. The lineup will initially include at least two new phones Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. An Ultra model is expected to be added to the series in early 2025. The specifications of this smartphone have been revealed in the leak. Here we are telling you in detail about Vivo X200 Ultra.

The tipster revealed that the phone will be based on the “SM8750” chip which is the codename for Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It is said to have a 200-megapixel periscope lens. This includes three other lenses, each with 50-megapixel resolution. If this leak indeed confirms the X200 Ultra, it means that Vivo is upgrading the camera setup on the X200 Ultra with 4 lenses, while the X100 Ultra has three lenses.

One of the three 50-megapixel cameras is reportedly a primary module with a large aperture. While the tipster hasn’t revealed it specifically, the other two 50-megapixel lenses are an ultrawide and a telephoto lens. In a separate leak, the tipster also revealed the battery sizes of the X200 series phones. Of these, the X200 Pro has the largest battery at 6000mAh. This time around, a mid variant is likely, called the Vivo X200 Mini, which could get a 5700mAh battery while the Vivo X200 will have a 5800mAh battery.

The Vivo X200 series will get MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. The X200 Ultra will reportedly have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. It is likely to come with an OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. However, other specifications of this smartphone are not known yet.
