Ahead of the official launch event, the brand has created a microsite revealing some specifications. Scrolling down to the disclaimer section of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, it says ‘As per its launch date as June 6, 2024’. This suggests that the foldable phone may launch in the country on June 6. Vivo may also officially reveal it in the coming days.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is said to be the first foldable phone in India in many respects. It is the slimmest and lightest, measuring 11.2mm thick and weighing 236 grams when folded. The smartphone will also have the largest display with an 8.03-inch internal display. It will be the brightest display in a foldable phone with 4,500 nits peak brightness level. Lastly, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is confirmed to be India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 based foldable phone.

The microsite also reveals that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be equipped with a ZEISS-branded triple rear camera setup consisting of two sensors and a periscope lens that will support 10x zoom. Apart from this, ZEISS Multifocal Portrait will allow shooting at different focal lengths. The Vivo carbon fiber hinge is rated to last up to 500,000 times and 12 years.
