Vivo Launches V30e With 50-Megapixel Selfie Camera, Know Price, Specifications

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Thursday launched the V30e in India. This smartphone has Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC as the processor. There have been some upgrades in it compared to the Vivo V29e introduced last year. It has a 50-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

It will be sold from May 9 through Flipkart, Vivo’s e-store and retail stores. Customers buying this smartphone with HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), IndusInd Bank, IDFC Bank and HDFC Bank cards will get a discount of 10 percent.

This dual SIM (Nano) smartphone runs on Android 14 based FuntouchOS 14. The company will provide three Android updates and four years of security updates for it. It has a 6.78 inch full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,300 nits. It has a 4 nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC as a processor with 8 GB of RAM. Its RAM can be expanded up to 16 GB virtually. The dual rear camera unit of this smartphone has a 50 megapixel Sony IMX882 camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Apart from this, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor has been given. Aura LED flash unit is given on its back.

It has a 50-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. Its connectivity options include 4G, 5G, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port. It has accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass and proximity sensor. This smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Its 5,500 mAh battery supports 44 W fast charging. The company claims that its battery gives about 22 hours of YouTube streaming and about 53 hours of music playback. It weighs about 179 grams.
