Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 could get Galaxy S24-like design, wider cover screen

South Korean smartphone maker Samsung’s next Unpacked event may take place in July. Galaxy Z Fold 6 may be launched in it. A major change can be made in the design of this book style foldable smartphone. Its cover screen can also be bigger.

Tipster Ice Universe has posted an alleged image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on social media platform X. Its design Samsung It looks like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Its screen can also be bigger. Earlier, some leaks had said that this foldable smartphone could have a 6.3-inch cover screen. The cover screen of the company’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 was 6.2 inches.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 could be the first smartphones to feature advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features, as indicated by a Samsung patent application. Such a feature is already present in the GalaxyAI suite. This patent application also suggests some new functions. Recently, a report by South Korean publication Chosun Biz (via tipster @Tech_Reve) stated that this patent application filed by the company appeared on the website of Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service (KIPRIS).

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24. The base model of this series, the S24, had a dynamic 2X display, triple rear camera unit and a 4,000 mAh battery. It was launched in two RAM and storage variants. The company may launch another variant of this smartphone soon. Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared an image on social media platform X showing the price of the Galaxy S24 variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In this image, this price is Rs 74,999. The 8 GB + 256 GB and 8 GB + 512 GB variants of this smartphone are priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999 respectively. This smartphone has a 6.2 inch Full HD + Dynamic 2X display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It has Exynos 2400 chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.
