If reports are to be believed, the Redmi K70 series can be introduced by the end of this month.
In recent times, details of some models of the series have been revealed in leaks. The series is expected to have a Pro model alongside the Redmi K80.
Recently, a tipster had claimed that Redmi K80 Pro will have a triple rear camera system, which will have an ultra-wide and a telephoto lens along with the main sensor. The details of the sensor were also shared in the leak.
Before that, the design of the Redmi K80 series was reportedly presented to the world through live images, which show a completely different camera module compared to the Redmi K70 series.
An account named Smart Pikachu (translated from Chinese) had leaked the specifications of the alleged Redmi K80 Pro model on Weibo. The tipster had told that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will have a triple rear camera system, which will have a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 800 main sensor, similar to the Redmi K70 Pro. Additionally, the setup will include a 32-megapixel Samsung S5KKD1 ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera with 2.6x zoom support.
Recent leaks had revealed that the Redmi K80 series will have a round camera module like the Xiaomi Civi. The same tipster had shared a picture in his post, in which a smartphone was shown with a protective case. It was said that this is Redmi K80 Pro. In the photo, its camera module appeared round, similar to the Xiaomi Civi smartphone.
The Redmi K80 Pro is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the standard K80 is said to be launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The 3C certification of both devices has revealed that they will support 120W fast charging. At the same time, both devices are likely to have a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity.
