Redmi 13 spotted on FCC and IMEI database
The upcoming smartphone from the Chinese tech giant was spotted on FCC and IMEI certification. It was spotted on both platforms with the model number 24049RN28L, while the IMEI listing revealed its official name as Redmi 13. Based on the FCC certification, the Redmi 13 will also run on the brand’s new HyperOS 1.0 custom skin based on Android 14 OS.
Apart from this, the Redmi 13 smartphone is set to launch with Bluetooth 5.3 standard. It is listed with a 4,930mAh rated battery capacity, which will have a capacity of 5,000mAh. This battery pack was certified with support for 33W wired fast charging. Both certifications did not reveal any other information about this smartphone like its specifications and design. But based on its name, we can expect it to be an upgrade to the Redmi 12 launched in 2023.
In December 2023, Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi 13C model in the Indian market. This model was launched with Mediatek Dimensity 6100 processor, 6.74-inch 90Hz HD + display, 50 megapixel primary camera and much more. While Redmi 12 had Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 50 megapixel triple camera and 6.79 inch 90Hz FHD + display. So we can expect Redmi 13 to come with some improvements.
