PUBG Support 120 FPS on Samsung Galaxy S24 Galaxy S23 Galaxy Z Fold 5

Samsung has confirmed that many of its premium smartphones will support the popular mobile game PUBG at higher frame rates than before. Krafton’s battle royale game is available for smartphone users on both Android and iOS devices. Recently the game supported frame rates up to 90fps (frames per second). With the new update, the game can be accessed at higher frame rates. Samsung has announced the list of smartphones that will support high frame rate gameplay.

A community Post Samsung’s official moderator in charge of game optimization has confirmed that several of its smartphones will support PUBG at 120fps. The list includes the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series smartphones as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 book-style foldable smartphone.

It is worth noting that with the new v3.2 update, PUBG Mobile has brought many new items, new stages, new mechanics, and new modes including support for 120fps frame rate. Update A higher frame rate provides smoother gameplay, while a lower frame rate shows more action and activity within the game.

The Samsung Community post states that the optimization will be included in the new Game Optimization Service (GOS) and Game Booster application that come pre-installed on most Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets. However, the post did not clarify whether the support will be extended to other Samsung models later. For now, the optimization will be supported on these models Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
