It is claimed that its power management under medium to low load is at par with current flagships like ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite’.
Similarly, while playing ‘Genshin Impact’, the Ace 5 maintained an average of 60.2fps with 4.8W power consumption. Its power consumption was also less than the 8th Gen 3 processor. That means its performance is close to ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite’.
The Ace 5’s frame rate was fluctuating in highload scenarios while playing ‘Honkai: Star Rail’. Still, it managed to manage 55.2fps with a power consumption of 5.7W. It was better than ‘Snapdragon 8 Generation 3’.
DCS says that the phone will have a 120Hz BOE X2 flat display with 1.5K resolution. The phone will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, but with upgrades. The phone will be packed with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and will offer 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. During Geekbench 6, this chipset has got 2261 points in single core and 7188 points in multi-core test.
Even though OnePlus Ace 5 will be packed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, its gaming performance will be higher than the regular ‘Snapdragon 8 Gen’. People are also calling it Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.5.
