Nothing Phone 2a Plus India launch confirmed for July 31, key specifications revealed

Nothing Phone 2a Plus will make its India debut has been confirmed by Cark Pei-led UK based company Nothing. The new smartphone from Nothing will be launched in India on July 31 and to create the hype around the upcoming device, the company has been teasing features of the Nothin Phone 2a Plus. In on of the recent post on X, the company event revealed the chipset that will be powering the new device.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus to get New Chipset

Ahead of the launch this week, Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset. Under the hood, the chipset will be paired to a 12GB RAM. It is believed that the RAM will be virtually expandable to up to 20GB with the RAM Booster feature.

Nothing Phone 2a Specs That We May See in Plus Model

The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is expected to borrow some of the features from its sibling Phone 2a, which was launched by the company in May. Just like Nothing first smartphone, the Phone 2a comes with a Glyph Interface at the rear. It is priced at Rs. ₹23,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. At the front, the Nothing Phone 2a gets 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with adjustable refresh rate from 30Hz to 120Hz. It also comes with up to 12GB of RAM.

At the rear, the Phone 2a sports a dual camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors for taking high-quality photos and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The company has also added dual stereo speakers to the device. With an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, the Nothing Phone 2a had an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
