The Moto G85 5G was recently listed on a European retailer’s website, suggesting that the launch could be near. As per the listing, the 12GB+256GB variant of the phone is priced at around €300 (roughly Rs. 26,952), which is the same starting price as its previous model, the Moto G84 5G.
Motorola hasn’t officially announced the Moto G85 5G yet, but retail listings suggest the smartphone will likely launch in the second half of 2024. The specifications given in its previous model give an idea of what to expect from it.

Moto G84 5G has a 6.55-inch FHD + pOLED display, which has a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits brightness. This smartphone works on Snapdragon 695 processor. It has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. Talking about the camera setup, the rear of this phone has a 50-megapixel rear camera with OIS support and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. At the same time, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
For security, it has an under-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 14 bands, dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm jack and 5G, among others. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W turbocharging. For audio, it has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and dual microphones. This phone comes with an IP54 rating, which ensures protection from water.
