HMD’s Barbie flip phone allegedly spotted in TENAA listing (via Giznochina) has been released. Earlier it was only being speculated that the upcoming HMD Barbie could be a flip phone, but the latest listing confirms this. The phone looks similar to a toy phone. It has Barbie written in large font size on the front. At the same time, the back includes a single camera and a flash unit.
The listing also gives details of the HMD Barbie specifications. The phone is expected to feature a 2.8-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The report suggests that the certification also mentions a secondary display with a resolution of 128 x 160-pixels and a size smaller than 1.77 inches. However, this display is not visible in the images in the TENAA listing.
Apart from this, it is reported that the phone will run on a single-core SoC running at 1.05 GHz. Which will be paired with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage. This suggests that it will be a feature phone, ideal for calling and texting. It is also reported that the storage can be expanded up to 32GB via a micro-SD card slot. The phone will support 4G LTE. It will have a 1450mAh battery, which users will be able to replace with the same as the old phone. Camera information has not been given. The device is said to measure 108 x 55 x 18.9 mm and weigh 123 grams.
