Google May Soon Launch Pixel 8a, Listed on Bluetooth SIG Website

American technology company Google may launch Pixel 8a at its annual I/O developer conference next month. It will replace Pixel 7a. Its design may be similar to Pixel 8. It may get upgrades like Tensor G3 SoC and 120 Hz display.

However, Google has not confirmed the launch of this smartphone. It has been seen on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) certification website. Earlier it was seen on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Various variants of Pixel 8a are listed on the Bluetooth SIG website. It can also be launched in countries like Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Hungary, Latvia, Poland, Slavyanka, Romania and Slovenia.

This smartphone can have a 6.1-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1,400 nits. Tensor G3 chipset can be given in Pixel 8a. Its dual rear camera setup can have a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. A 13-megapixel camera can be given on its front. According to the listing on FCC, Pixel 8a will have support for wireless charging. It will have 5G, Wi-Fi, NFC and mmW options for connectivity. Last year, Google launched the Pixel 8 series. This series includes Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google’s Pixel Fold 2 can also be launched soon. It can replace the company’s first foldable smartphone Pixel Fold. Some changes can be made in Pixel Fold 2 compared to the previous smartphone. It can have a new camera island design. Recently, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) leaked the CAD design of Pixel Fold 2 in collaboration with Smartprix. In this image, this smartphone is seen in dark gray color. The location of the camera module and USB port is also revealed in it. It can have a new camera island instead of the horizontal camera visor given in Google’s Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series smartphones.
