This smart fone has been reportedly spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website with model numbers G8HNN, GKV4X, G6GPR, and G576D. These could be related to different variants of the Pixel 8a. Google’s Pixel 7a had a similar numbering scheme. Earlier, a retail box leak showed the model number G6GPR. As per the listing on the FCC, the Pixel 8a will have support for wireless charging. It will have 5G, Wi-Fi, NFC, and mmW options for connectivity. Last year, Google launched the Pixel 8 series. This series includes the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.
Google’s Pixel Fold 2 can also be launched soon. It can replace the company’s first foldable smartphone Pixel Fold. Some changes can be made in Pixel Fold 2 compared to the previous smartphone. It can have a new camera island design. Recently, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) leaked the CAD design of Pixel Fold 2 in collaboration with Smartprix. In this image, this smartphone is seen in dark gray color. The location of the camera module, buttons and USB port is also visible in it.
It can have a new camera island instead of the horizontal camera visor given in Google’s Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series smartphones. This image indicates three cameras and LED flash in the camera module. Pixel Fold 2 has a 6.4-inch outer display with rounded corners and a hole punch cutout in the center at its top. When unfolded, it has a 7.9-inch inner display. This smartphone has a camera sensor on the top right corner of the inner display. Google is preparing to bring repair mode to its Pixel devices. The company can also make this feature available in all smartphones using Android.
