Apple is going to hold its next hardware launch event in a few hours. The company is expected to introduce upgrades to the iPhone 15 series smartphones. Ahead of the event at the company’s headquarters, a journalist has leaked some information about the upcoming iPhone 16 series, which will include four models iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new smartphones are expected to get a separate camera button and Apple’s A18 series processor with Apple Intelligence support.

Apple’s new global launch event is going to be held in just a few hours. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has given information about the iPhone 16 series of smartphones on X Post This year, the company is suggested to equip its smartphones with a separate capture button that can launch the camera with a single tap and allow users to instantly capture photos and videos. Gurman says that all models of the iPhone 16 series will have this button.

The journalist also says that the size of the bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro models will be reduced. Previous reports have also suggested that Apple will reduce the size of the bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models by using a process called Border Reduction Structure (BRS) to reduce the black area around the screen by up to 1.15 mm.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to launch with slightly larger displays. This growth will allow the company to equip these smartphones with larger batteries that offer longer usage on a single charge. According to Gurman, both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will offer improved battery life over their previous models.

The new Apple Watch and AirPods models are expected to launch later alongside the iPhone 16 series. The event will also be available to stream on these platforms once the event is over. According to the journalist, the company will launch the upcoming iPhone 16 series with the A18 processor. He also says that the upcoming iPhones will also get Apple Intelligence which is expected to come with iOS 18.1.
