Huawei has defeated Apple in the premium smartphone market in China. According to a report by market research firm Counterpoint, Huawei’s sales grew by about 64 percent during this period. This indicates a decrease in demand for Apple.
This report says that Apple’s share in China’s smartphone market has decreased to 15.7 percent. With this it has slipped to the fourth position in this market. A year ago the company was in second place with around 19 percent share. Huawei has secured the second position in this market with 16.5 percent share. The total smartphone market in China has decreased by seven percent. Companies like Vivo and Xiaomi are also competing with Apple in the mid-range. The demand for the company’s mixed reality headset Vision Pro has also decreased in America. Vision Pro can also be launched in the international market in the coming months.
