Redmi Launches K70 Extreme Edition With MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, Up to 1 TB Storage

Chinese smartphone maker Redmi has launched the K70 Extreme Edition. It will join Xiaomi’s Redmi K70. It has MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ as a processor. This smartphone has up to 24 GB of RAM. Its 6.67 inch display is with 1.5K resolution.

The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition launched in China is priced at CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 31,000) for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant, CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs. 34,000) for 12 GB + 512 GB, CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs. 36,000) for 16 GB + 512 GB and CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for 16 GB + 1 TB. Its Supreme Champion Edition has 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Its price is CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 47,000). It has been made available in Clear Snow White, Ice Blue and Ink Feather Black colours. Its Supreme Champion Edition can be purchased in Green and Orange colours.

Specifications of Redmi K70 Extreme Edition

This dual SIM (Nano) smartphone runs on the company’s new HyperOS interface. Its 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) display has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 480 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. It has a 4 nm octacore MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ as a processor. The triple rear camera unit of this smartphone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It has a 20-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

This smartphone has options of 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port for connectivity. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Redmi K70 Extreme Edition also has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The 5,500 mAh battery of this smartphone supports 120 W wired charging. Its size is 160.38 x 75.14 x 8.39 mm and weight is about 211 grams.
