Design and Specifications of Moto Edge 50 Ultra
Earlier it was expected that this phone will come with a curved display. Now the teaser has been leaked Video The video shows a curved design with the display and back panel blending seamlessly into the frame. There are visible antenna lines on the frame, so we can tell that it is metal. The video shows a triple camera setup at the rear, which includes a periscope telephoto module and a 50-megapixel primary camera. Apart from this, there are two other small cutouts in the camera module which are for the rear-facing mic and depth sensor to help with autofocus.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Edge 50 Ultra is equipped with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 72mm focal length and 3x optical zoom. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5k curved display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It includes a single hole-punch front-facing camera. The panel will have Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Motorola and Corning announced a partnership at MWC in February that will lead to Reinforced Gorilla Glass for all Motorola phones.
A video shows the phone coming out of the water after submersion, which suggests an IP68 rating, which can protect against dust and water. Last year’s Moto Edge 40 Pro was also IP68 rated. A dual stereo speaker setup has also been seen in a video. Apart from this, the phone is likely to include Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 4500mAh battery, 125W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
