The report says that the OV60A sensor is usually used in selfie cameras, but in the Xiaomi Mix Flip it is being used as a secondary rear camera, as it is expected to be used to click selfies with the help of the cover screen.
The report states that the Xiaomi Mix Flip is likely to have a 32-megapixel OV32B camera as the front camera sensor inside the primary display. This same sensor has been used specifically in models like Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Motorola Edge 40. According to the report, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is also likely to have a primary display with 1.5K resolution and 520ppi pixel density. The report also states that the phone has model numbers “2405CPX3DG” and “2405CPX3DC”. The “2405” at the beginning suggests that it could be launched in May 2024.
An earlier report by GizmoChina revealed that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will launch in China as well as select global markets, unlike the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 that is said to be launched only in the Chinese market. However, the report states that the Mix Flip model is unlikely to launch in India. It states that the phone is codenamed “Ruyi” and has an internal model number of “N8”.
According to an older report, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is likely to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It also shared a possible render of the alleged phone. The primary display is seen with a hole-punch slot in the middle for the front camera and uniform bezels. The rectangular cover screen is placed below the rear camera module.
