Polestar has confirmed that the company’s wearable phone, the Polestar Phone, will launch on April 23. It is also reported that its design is a collaboration between Polestar’s global design team based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Meizu design team. The phone is colored “Polestar White” and features “Swedish Gold” color accents similar to the seat belts and Brembo brakes found in Polestar vehicles. The company says that the phone’s packaging and case are made of eco-friendly materials in line with Polestar’s zero-carbon goals.
The Polestar Phone uses NP66 aerospace-grade aluminum for the middle frame and AG glass with a “soft sand crystal sparkle process” for the back cover. Its display comes with 2K+ resolution, an aspect ratio of 21:9 and uniform bezels of 2.2 mm around the display.
In the teased images, its design appears similar to the Meizu 21 Pro. It is possible that the upcoming Polestar phone is a rebadged Meizu flagship. In such a situation, we can expect the phone to get Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 6.79-inch 120Hz LTPO display and a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It can also get a 5050mAh battery similar to the Meizu phone with fast wired and wireless charging support.
