Tecno Camon 30 Series to Soon Launch in India With Sony Cameras

Chinese smartphone maker Tecno’s Camon 30 series will soon be launched in India. This series was introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February this year. It includes Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G. The base and Pro variants of this series were later made available for sale in Nigeria.

in country Tecno Sony’s unit has posted on social media platform X about the launch of the Camon 30 series in India. However, the launch date has not been revealed in this post. The video with this post confirms that these smartphones have Sony’s Lytia camera. In another teaser, one of these smartphones is seen in a black vegan leather option. In this teaser, the design of the variants of the smartphones of this series to be launched in India looks similar to their international variants. Their specifications may also be similar. The Camon 30 series can be launched in the country this month. The Camon 30 4G has MediaTek Helio G99 as a processor. Its 5G variant has MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The Camon 30 Pro 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G have MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The 5,000 mAh battery of these smartphones supports 70 W wired fast charging. The 4G and 5G variants of the Camon 30 have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Camon Pro 5G has a 1/1.56 inch 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G has a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 50-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide angle lens with a quad flash unit. All these smartphones have a 50-megapixel front camera on the front. Tecno’s sales have increased in the last few years.
